Doc's Diesel Crankcase Filters:

Doc’s Diesel Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) Filters are designed to keep your engine running strong. By trapping harmful vapors and blow-by gases, they help reduce sludge buildup, oil breakdown, and engine wear. That means cleaner oil, fewer repairs, and a longer-lasting diesel engine. You’ll get better performance, lower maintenance costs, and a cleaner-running rig.

Product Details:

  • CCV Filters are made of durable, high-quality material resistant to heat and oill
  • Filters out oil mist and vapors from crankcase gases before they can re-enter the intake system
  • Keeps turbo, intercooler, and intake valves cleaner — reducing carbon buildup and maintaining engine performance over time
  • Durable materials and a secure seal prevent leaks and failures under pressure, heat, or vibration
  • Reliable performance in extreme conditions like towing, off-roading, or winter driving — no worries about blow-by messes or oil leaks

IMPORTANT! 2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Information:

Ford began integrating the CCV filter into the valve cover, making it sealed and not designed for periodic replacement. However, some 2019 models (especially earlier builds) may still have a serviceable filter.

How to Identify if Your 2019 Model Has a Serviceable Filter:

Serviceable: These filters have bolts on the top housing, allowing for easy replacement.

Non-Serviceable: These filters do not have bolts and are typically part of a larger assembly, meaning they cannot be easily replaced.

  • Visual Inspection: A serviceable filter will be located under a cover on top of the engine and will have a replaceable cartridge. A non-serviceable filter will be integrated and not accessible for replacement without replacing the entire valve cover assembly.

  • Check Part Number: A serviceable filter typically has a Ford part number like HC3Z-6A785-A. Non-serviceable systems won’t have a standalone part number for the filter.

  • Consult the Owner’s Manual or Service Manual: Review the maintenance section to see if the filter is mentioned as a replaceable item.

  • VIN Lookup: Using your VIN number on a Ford parts website or with a dealer can confirm whether your specific truck has a serviceable or non-serviceable CCV filter.

  • DRW vs. SRW: DRW (Dual Row) engines typically have serviceable CCV filters, while SRW (Single Row) engines do not.

No Blow-By. No Problems.

Doc’s CCV Filters capture oil vapors and harmful blow-by gases to protect your turbo, extend oil life, and keep your engine running clean and efficient. By controlling crankcase pressure and cutting emissions, it helps your diesel meet tough standards without sacrificing performance.
