Brake Rotors

Heat Management or Long-Term Durability. You Choose.

Diesel pickups don't brake like passenger cars — towing, hauling, and working hard put real heat and load into every stop. Doc's Diesel Brake Rotors come in two builds so you can match the rotor to the job: Drilled & Slotted for maximum cooling and aggressive stopping power, or High-Carbon for smooth, quiet, long-haul durability.

Drilled & Slotted vs. High-Carbon: Which One's Right for Your Truck

Drilled & Slotted rotors are precision-machined with drilled holes and directional slots that vent gas, dust, and water fast for consistent pad contact and a stronger initial bite. They're the right call for trucks towing in mountains or steep grades, performance builds, and drivers who need aggressive, confident stopping power under heavy, repeated braking cycles. Trade-off: slightly increased pad wear, and they're not built for long-term heavy load cycling without a cooling break.

High-Carbon rotors are manufactured with a high-carbon alloy iron for improved strength, heat stability, and longevity. They resist warping under sustained heat, deliver quieter and smoother braking, and extend service life — the right choice for daily-driven trucks, consistent towing and hauling, fleet vehicles, and flatland or moderate-terrain use. Trade-off: less aggressive initial bite than a performance rotor, with heat dissipation that's steady rather than rapid.

Platform Coverage

Doc's Brake Rotors are fit to your exact engine and generation — Ford 6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L, and 7.3L Powerstroke; RAM 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins; and Chevrolet/GMC 6.6L Duramax, in both SRW and DRW configurations.
