Safe Applications:

• Brake Pads (Friction Material):
  • Cleaner evaporates quickly and does not leave residue.
  • Safe for ceramic, semi-metallic, and organic (NAO) pads.
  • Helps remove oils/grease that could cause glazing or squeal,
• Brake Rotors (Cast Iron, Coated, Drilled/Slotted, Performance):
  • Safe on all rotor materials (standard cast iron, coated, or high-performance drilled/slotted).
  • Ideal for removing protective shipping oils before installation.
  • Ensures a clean surface for bedding new pads.

Cautions:

• Do NOT soak pads – A quick spray to remove contaminants is fine, but prolonged soaking can weaken adhesives that bond pad material to backing plates.
• Painted/Coated Areas – Many rotors have painted hubs or corrosion-resistant coatings. Avoid spraying heavily on painted areas unless the cleaner is labeled paint-safe.
• Rubber/Plastics – Keep spray away from rubber seals (caliper boots) or ABS wiring insulation unless verified safe.
• Regulatory Notice – This product contains 45% VOC and may not be compliant in certain VOC-restricted states or air quality districts

Treatment Plan:

To add to fluid: Check the supply reservoir every 2,000 miles.

1. Protect rubber, plastic parts, and painted surfaces from liquid stream and overspray.
2. Hold can 18 to 24 inches from surface to be cleaned; wet surface using short bursts.
3. For heavy deposits, repeat application as necessary.
4. Air dry or wipe down with a clean cloth.
5. Avoid breathing vapor or dust that may become airborne. Professional users should rad SDS and follow all OSHA regulations.
6. Runoff should be collected and disposed of properly.
